Phi Delta Theta, Michigan Beta Chapter House Corporation
On February 13, 2023, our brother and Chapter President Brian Fraser tragically lost his life to a senseless act of violence.
Brian was our leader, and we loved him. He cared deeply about his Phi Delt brothers, his family, Michigan State University, and Phi Delta Theta. We will greatly miss Brian and mourn his death deeply as our chapter supports each other during this difficult time.
In collaboration with Brian’s family and the active chapter, the Michigan Beta House Corporation wishes to memorialize him with the dedication of our chapter house library, affectionately dubbed the Fraser Frib
Since moving back into 626 in the fall of 2015, the library on the first floor has hosted hundreds of study sessions, Eboard meetings, and Phikeia Final Exams. The term Frib comes from a continual shortening of Fraternity Library, The Library, and Club Lib. Today and evermore, it will live in memory of our brother Brian Fraser.
Funds raised in Brian’s memory will support the Fraser Frib, which will help refurnish and upgrade the 1st floor library at 626 Cowley. It is our hope that each person who walks through the doors of 626 Cowley has a first-class facility that will embody Brian’s charismatic, contagious smile and caring, loyal energy.
May Brian’s name live on forever in the walls of 626 Cowley. We love you, brother.
In coelo quies est.
